Empirical research in vocational education and the business sector

Empirical research in politics, business & science

The IBBF uses empirical evidence to capture and analysing data regarding trends in education and the business sector. The results of this research form the basis for our work: We use these results to develop and implement innovative solutions for vocational training, to design opportunities for cooperation and collaboration with regard to people, technology and organisations as well as for developing new project ideas. Our range of services includes:

  • Conceptualisation and implementation of empirical surveys with quantitative and qualitative processes (traditional or analogue and / or online-based - digital)
  • Producing diagnoses, case studies and expert reports on vocational education and training, work and organisational structuring and the design of management systems
  • Planning and implementation of process and project evaluations

Each spring the IBBF carries out an online survey on continuing vocational training in organisations in the Berlin region. Using the results of this survey, which has been conducted every year since 2013, we are able to identify and work with trends and developments. Based on these findings, the IBBF works together with its partners to produce new ideas for content and the structuring of training in the Berlin area.
